Medium: Oils On Canvas
Size: 9x12 inches approx.
Info: Yellow breasted Capuchin also known as Cebus xanthosternos originate from Brazil. They are critically endangered. Found in only a small area of fast vanishing Atlantic rainforest, their gripping or prehensile tails help these monkeys to climb. I was fortunate to see a couple at Newquay zoo.
I have entered this painting for the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation- Wildlife Artist of The Year 2020 , in the animal behaviour category.
